    On Wednesday, March 11, I sent an overnight package from San Diego to North Dakota through the UPS Store located at 5965 Village Way. The shipping cost was $67.23 for overnight delivery. Two days later, on Friday, the package had still not been delivered. I then received a notification from UPS stating that due to a “late flight” by UPS, the delivery would be delayed until the next business day, Monday, March 16—which would make it five days after I had sent the package overnight. Because the guaranteed delivery commitment had not been met, I visited the UPS Store where I had shipped the package and asked the manager for a refund of the $67.23. The manager told me that the store is a franchisee of UPS and that they would not issue a refund. He directed me to submit the request through www.UPS.com. I expressed my frustration because I am a frequent customer of that location and felt that was not an appropriate way to treat a repeat customer. During this conversation, a young employee who had been sweeping the floor approached us. While I was showing the manager the notification on my iPhone from UPS regarding the delay, this employee suddenly grabbed my phone, threw it onto the counter, and began using profane language. This behavior was completely unprovoked and inappropriate. I was shocked by the employee’s conduct and momentarily speechless. I calmly told him not to interfere and to continue with his sweeping, and asked that the manager handle the matter. Instead, the manager instructed me to call the general UPS customer service number and told me not to return to the store again. I then left the store.

    Great service from team 7166 and Salem. He went out of his way to ensure my items get to my family on time. Thank you guys for your service. I needed my items there before Valentine's Day, and to make it there on time, he had to chased down USPS driver 2 blocks away and hand them my package. "This is the most exciting post I have ever made” Thank you from an 84 year old grandma!

    I am 39 weeks pregnant and brought several (probably 12-15) boxes in that were labeled and ready to go. The associate was happily helping a young woman with her returns when I got there so I started to stack my boxes on the counter wherever I could find room knowing I had to go out to my car and get the rest. When I had his attention I asked if it was okay to stack the boxes where I was (the counter was pretty full) since I had one more load to bring in. He confirmed that it was okay. Then a moment later he changed his mind and wanted me to relocate all the boxes to a different area. I’m visibly sweating and out of breath at this point so I asked him for help and he said he couldn’t because he needed to help the next customer. I looked at him funny and questioned his response and he reluctantly said “he could see what he could do”. I went back to my car to get the rest of the boxes and came back to drop them off. The next woman he was helping asked me if I needed help. I said it was okay since I was basically done but I was just shocked that 2 men who were working there had no interest in lifting a finger for a visibly pregnant woman. I was very disappointed with the customer service. Hopefully it’s not this way all the time.

    Raymond was so unbelievably helpful! He went above and beyond to try and help me when I was printing and shipping something. It took a lot longer than expected and he was patient and kind the whole time. He made extra effort when the scanning wouldn’t send and did what he could to make it happen. He did all of this on Christmas Eve!!!! I am very grateful for him and his efforts. I will say a side note I was very disappointed in the worker Salem. As Raymond was helping me he made a comment on how he had “taken too much time here” and needed to move on to help guests when HE was fully capable doing it himself. I felt it was very uncomfortable being that I am a customer too and he made such a rude comment. It was like he wanted Raymond to do all the other work so he didn’t have to. Very unprofessional. Anyways thanks again Raymond!! You were awesome.
