The clerk at the window said the passport person was not there yet, and she had no idea when or if this person would be showing up today. I waited for an hour and finally gave up! The clerk called her boss who obviously had no idea if or when other employees were showing up to work today. The clerk at the desk was expected to work the entire facility by herself with no breaks until her boss could find somebody to come to work. Is this they way our postal service is allowed to be managed? If this were a private business, they would have fired someone, or gone out of business. It took me 4 weeks just to get this appointment and so now I'll have to find another way and wait another 4 weeks!!
