They did away with the drive-up mailboxes. Now you have to park and go inside the post office to actually drop a letter in the mail. Probably an attempt to cut back on spending. I'm sure it cost them a lot to have a postal employee walk out to the mail collection box and grab the mail.

I went to two different locations in San Diego. Stevens Way was excellent service with plenty of parking. The one on 16th Street was run down and no parking available with few spaces in the lot that were filled—no street parking.

Mario (I believe that’s hit name) and the manager Steven are amazing. I had delivery issues with a package that I shipped incorrectly with no tracking # from a different location & I drove here to hopefully get some help since the post office I originally sent it from literally did nothing to help me. Mario was very nice and passed my issue to his manager, Steven who assisted me from there. I didn’t find my package but the fact that he gave me SOME options to check into where it be may be was appreciated. Thank you for listening & being as helpful as you could be considering it didn’t have a tracking #. You both deserve a raise! lol

In looking at the reviews, It's very obvious that some of the reviews have racial undertones. Most of the post office that I have visited I have no idea how these people obtain jobs dealing with customer service. But, as we all should know these are federal employee's and not govern or rated for customer services skills or have the threat of losing their jobs. They have no B2B skills and don't care. With that say if We the people could one day find a way to take the federal status away from these unpaid mail pusher were would see better customer care. As for this location and people I'm very proud of the South East Community and for the people that feel it's ghetto with ghetto people. You have a choice (MOVE) This community is not a dump site for Trash.

The staff at this post office is very helpful and kind. They always answer my questions you do not have to wait long, if there is someone taking a long time another person will come from the back to help to move the line along. Although I live close to another post office I wait until I am in the area of this one to stop and take care of my mailing and stamp needs.
