  Anthony refused to help me with my returns even though the store was empty and he and the other employees were just chatting in the back. While I was doing the returns myself, I could hear them talking about me and saying they can’t help with returns because it “gets them in trouble.” and something along the lines of I wish people understood that. I understand if that’s the policy, but it’s still an inconvenience—especially when the store is empty. After explaining that, nothing else really needed to be said. A simple “sorry, unfortunately we can’t help with that” would have been basic customer service. As I was processingmy returns, I mentioned that I left a review about the inconvenience and that I hope management understands. Marcos then tried to say there are signs posted all over the store explaining this, which isn’t true. The only sign I saw was for Amazon self-check, which has nothing to do with employees helping customers. I’m sure I’m not the only customer who doesn’t want to do the returns themselves. I wouldn’t have minded waiting if they were busy. I had just worked a long day and came in expecting help, but instead the interaction felt rude and unprofessional.
