I went in today to return an item that I had purchased (sender only wanted it return via USPS) I didn’t have a box so I excused myself from the line to find a box. I was standing to the side of the male usps worker moving my item up, got back in line and waited patiently. When it was my turn, I stepped up to the male with box in hand and was met with an ugly “you can’t use duct tape, there tape on the box” Keep in mind, I haven’t used USPS in years so I didn’t know there was tape on the side and I differently didn’t know I couldn’t use duct tape. My question is, why didn’t you tell me that when you were watching me box it up?? Why make me go through all that, stand back in line only to tell me I had to go fix it and get back in line again?? So that’s exactly what I did. I “fixed” it and got back in another long line again. It just upsets me that it could have been avoided and my trip to the post office could have been a 15 min wait instead of a 35 min wait. This is exactly why I’d rather go elsewhere for my shopping needs.

- HSHeike SharpNov 21, 20251.0It’s been a while since I’ve been to this post office. But today I went and there was not one person in the lobby, so I was excited to go buy my stamps. When I walked in, there were three ladies working (Or at least say we’re sitting at the counters) and one of them was yelling into her phone about some other employee, sounded like maybe a managerial problem. It took everyone a minute to even acknowledge me, and while I was taking care of of my business, the lady lady was yelling at the other person the whole time sitting at her counter with a Christmas hat on. I’m not sure what is happening at the post office these days, but I feel like every time I walk in and have to do something with a person they’re unhappy And have no problem, showing it to the customers.
