- SBS BDec 24, 20251.0We called in and we are told that the shipment is at the distribution Center and it will be held there. We said we would come pick it up so that we could make it for Christmas we drive for an hour and they say that it is gone out on the truck. Good thing we didn't listen to the bots that they have on their website and their app that also took four phone calls before they could even figure out what we were trying to say or do. But unfortunately even the conversation with the live person isn't helpful for FedEx.. it must be just what it says in the name. "FEDERAL" as in a government org. vs Corp who has to serve the customer to be in business. It wouldn't be so bad if our life = time didn't matter

I had no idea they had been here until I called to ask why I hadn't receive the package. I found out a tall man was at my door from looking at my security videos. The delivery man reached his arms up and put the notice at the very top of my door, knowing full well when I opened my door I would see nothing. We could have played this game for weeks. I am surprised that FedEx has such poor working standards, they are wasting time by not notifying a person they have a package and will be delivering it between certain hours. The AI system gives incorrect information. When I called again and managed to get a live person, he was very nice but I struggled to understand him. I am hard of hearing and he had such a high pitched voice. It was a very important and time sensitive documents and even though there is a FedEx less than 10 minutes from my home I have to drive across town to pick up the package. FedEx seems to be very poorly managed.
