- CFcat finderNov 15, 20201.0I avoid this post office because they refuse to do a very simple thing to help keep customers safe from covid. They have the option to keep the lobby doors propped open for better air circulation and they refuse to do so. Hundreds of people per day are forced to touch the door handles and breathe the stagnant air in there. It would be so easy to change that by propping the doors open. Customers have given them door stops and they refuse to use them. The garberville post office has their door propped open all the time, so we go there now instead.

I've been in this community for over 35 years now and have never in all that time had a negative experience personally at our Redway Post Office. I have though seen some very negative events happen there and it usually has to do with people who themselves are rude, uninformed or simply ignorant to the fact that they themselves are not the center of the universe. I've seen our postal employees deal with insults in a gracious manner, much more graciously than I would have dealt with such. These employees are members of the community and good hearted persons all.
