- EBEsther BowenJan 14, 20261.0Today was the last time I frequent the Poway post office. The waits are always unacceptably long and the staff most of the time is rude and not very knowledgeable. But today took the cake. I came with a padded envelope that’s going to Europe. I looked up on the USPS site beforehand to make sure measurements and weight was up to code. The clerk tried to tell me that a padded envelope that weighs 2.5 ounces counts as a package and wanted to charge me over 30 dollars instead of the first class letter rate. Unacceptable!
