The line was LONG, people were frustrated, and some were taking it out on the one guy working the counter. By the time it was my turn, it was clear he wasn’t going to be able to help locate my package — no big deal, he seemed new and we’ve all been there. Then Denise Romero came out from the back. Calmly, in the middle of all the chaos, she asked for my information and tracking number and said she’d look into it and give me a call with an update. Honestly, my first thought was, “riiiiight… there’s no way I’m getting a call about this.” But sure enough, she called two days later — on a SUNDAY, her day off — to update me. She told me she had gone into the post office, opened up, and found my package herself. She said I could pick it up Monday at 9 a.m., or she’d try to have a driver deliver it that day. And about three hours later, the package was delivered… on a SUNDAY. I’ve never had this level of service from any business, let alone the post office. GIVE THIS LADY A RAISE.
