This FedEx location has Michael with short red hair and Caesar with dark hair. Over the years they have consistently been nice and have great customer service. Recently I have only needed to come here to pick up packages I place as Hold At Location. I am not a regular customer so I don’t get the pleasant niceties when I show up. No one really knows my name. When I do talk to Michael he chats it up. He is a friendly person. So is Caesar. But today Caesar wasn’t there and Michael was helping another customer to ship. I line up at the FedEx section on the right. The other line is on the left where it says Print. But then I am told by a lady who was working the floor and didn’t say hello to people walking in that there is one line and to get behind 3 other people. Who is she supposed to be? Why don’t you greet your customers? I am only there to pick up. Why are there 2 lines? The people who want print services need more time with their orders as they should. And I understand a shipping order does too. There are 2 other employees including the lady who told me to get in one line but they are working behind the counter So I move to one line and I wait. I have my FedEx QR code ready for it pick up. I show it to her when it’s my turn. She looks at it and doesn’t know what it’s for. Wasn’t she trained? This is the FedEx Mobile App with QR code for pick up. She doesn’t even scan the QR code. She doesn’t know what it is. So I say I am here to pick up. She said “a print order?” Ok that is why you need two lines. I am not here to pick up a print order with my FedEx QR code to pick up a package. I ask Michael when he comes over and he just says “I understand” reluctantly and goes to help the man behind me and have a happy rapport because that man is a regular. So Michael won’t help me with his usual good customer service because I raise a question and I have a problem. But in the previous month he has had no problem asking me about my package from another country which I didn’t really need to tell him what was inside the contents of my package. It seems this decision to only have two people work the counter with one line comes from upper management so the local managers hands are tied because they could only tell me “I understand.” If someone has a deadline, you’ll have to wait in one line. So be patient. I came in at 6:30pm.

Michael helped me ship a bottle of perfume to my sister, and I honestly don’t know how he could have done a better job. I went to 5 stores yesterday trying to send this package, and no one would help me. Michael reviewed the criteria and confirmed it was safe. He also recommended a shipping method that was faster and cheaper than I came in with. He was good humored and lovely to talk to. Thank you Michael, this is the best experience I’ve had sending a package.

I need to print a few labels I don’t want to have to deal with the matrix of your overcomplicated inefficient self service kiosk. Just more corporate American shipping company BS. Literally buying a printer today so I don’t have to deal with this place or UPS
