Golf Club Shipment:
I purchased a driver while visiting Palm Desert and needed it shipped to Seattle. The price with a box was $129. Seemed a little pricey but I didn't have a frame of reference. I asked about protecting the club during shipment and was told by the manager that it would be packed with paper so it wouldn't be loose. I trusted that it would be packaged correctly and left it to be shipped. When the club arrived it was the only thing in the box and was banging around in the box. Additionally, the box was not thoroughly taped up. I can only speak to a golf club shipment but I would recommend AGAINST using FedEx. I thought being in such a golf focused area and for $130, it would have been shipped properly. My trust in FedEx was misplaced. Explore your other options.

At 11:40 am on 10/24/25, I traveled to this location to drop off two (2) company laptops pre-packaged and labeled. Normally, I utilize the Self-Service kiosk for envelopes and small packages, however considering this equipment does not belong to me I wanted to hand them off to a customer service rep for peace of mind. There were four (4) reps at the front counter, three (3) were assisting customers and one (1) appeared to be free although likely working on administrative tasks. I stood in line waiting for the next available rep (one gentleman arrived shortly thereafter and stood behind me). The female rep who had been working off to the side started to walk over to an open register. She asked me if my packages were pre-labeled. I said, yes. She then told me that I could utilize the Self-Service kiosk. I advised her that the boxes contained laptops and therefore I would prefer she take them vs. having to throw them in the kiosk receptacle. She then said that I could still utilize the kiosk and once I received a receipt, I could hand the packages off at the counter. She offered to show me how to scan the packages, however I advised her that I am familiar with the kiosk considering I utilize it all the time. I then walked back across the store to the kiosk, scanned my packages and obtained a receipt. Afterwards, I walked over to the counter to hand off the packages and not a single rep acknowledged me for over a minute before I began to walk the packages over to the woman who had addressed me earlier. At that moment, a rep closer to me advised that I could leave the packages on the counter. Here's my issue: If I was patiently waiting in line - for any reason - why couldn't this rep scan the labels and accept my packages? Why should I be forced to do everything on my own after being dismissed only for the rep to assist the man behind me? I pride myself in being self-sufficient and never stand in line unless absolutely necessary. The entire transaction could have been handled in less than a minute and I wouldn't have been subject to a public dismissal by this rep (every customer at the counter looked at me in shock and disbelief as she spoke) and then rudely left off to the side after I had completed all of the tasks on my own. I have NEVER experienced this type of service in other FedEx Ship Centers. If a customer stands in line and has everything ready to go, why would they be forced out of line to a kiosk vs. having a personal experience with a rep? I am very disappointed in the way I was treated today. I never leave online reviews, however I couldn't get through to a live agent via the 800#, so here we are. This type of re-routing and dismissing doesn't need to happen. I hope the Store and District Managers see this review. Please do better.
