Scheduled a notary appointment for 9:00 AM on a Monday. They called at 8:50 AM the same day to tell us they don’t offer that service—despite the fact that we booked it two weeks in advance. We live 90 miles away, and they waited until the last minute to let us know.

Awful service! Do not bother scheduling a notary appointment here. When you show up, they’ll tell you the notary didn’t come to work and claim they “tried to call” to cancel—always an excuse, always unreliable. Other UPS stores in the area know about their reputation because they constantly push customers away instead of doing their job. Save yourself the headache and go to the UPS store at N Ventura, they ladies are great over there!

Very helpful employees, came in very close to closing and the young man working was very patient with multiple difficult returns and the young woman was quick with helping us pack the returns. Always a reliable location with 10/10 employees

On Saturday 8/23/25 at 2:26pm I entered a UPS location at1650 Gonzales Rd. in Oxnard to simply drop off 2 prepaid labeled packages (no receipt necessary). As soon as I walked in the assistant was with a customer, rudely announced that they were closed for lunch and to return in an hour. The fact she was helping a customer and the door was unlocked, was a strange way to indicate they were closed. So I left the store with another confused couple. I was really baffled by her negative attitude and looked back to confirm on the building the hours of operation and there was a white piece of paper taped to the door that stated “Closed for Lunch 2:30pm-3:30pm”. (*Please see photo attached.) looked at my watch and it said 2:27pm and all I had to do was a drop off! So I decided that this was not right or proffesional and re-entered the store only to get another “We’re closed!” with more attitude and the professionalism of a carnie at a fair. I said to the assistant, I’m just dropping off, you don’t even to have to scan them until after lunch – and I left the 2 packages on the counter. She didn’t reply. As I was leaving, I casually asked for her name and she responded with a snarky “I don’t have to tell you my name" like it’s mission impossible to figure out. Since she wouldn’t give me her name and I would have had a difficult time describing her body type to her general manager (without coming across as offensive) so I decided instead to take a photo and the time stamp on the photo states 2:28pm (2 minutes before they alleged closed for lunch). (*Please see photo attached.) I then left the establishment and was in my vehicle calling the office to report the unprofessional situation I had experienced and their store at 2:29pm (1 minute before she alleged closed for lunch) only to be met with an impersonal answering machine. I left a message on the machine and no one returned my call and I eagerly awaited a response as my packages that were dropped off had not been scanned and were not in transit. It’s been 48 hours. May I remind you, tampering with mail is indeed a federal offense. It’s a serious crime that can lead to significant penalties, including imprisonment and fines. If I need to bring the law into this as I’m sure there are cameras everywhere showing what she did with my packages after I left. Let me ensure you, if my 2 packages do not reach their destination, I will open a federal investigation against this establishment and press charges against that employee. I highly recommend to anyone who reads this review to avoid these people at all costs. They have several negative reviews and I can ensure you that these are not the type of people you want to support and they should be put out of business. Best regards, Kevin M. Herzstein
