I see why this company has such a low review score. I just called on my wife's behalf to feel it out and see if I can find a contact for her to reach out to you and ask a few questions of. The lady I spoke to was borderline rude but not exactly rude, just pushing me off the line not making me feel like they even want to speak to my wife. Directly said we can't do anything for her or even speak to her until she goes online and feels out the forms. And then was brushing me off the line when I had questions. We would never use this company and we will not be contacting them back because of the road service that makes this whole company live up to the battery views that it's received in our opinion. I'm very sad to say. Here's another bad review hope you guys know that you earned it

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I had an interview scheduled with the recruiter name ERICA BERNABE , but she never showed up or informed me of any changes. I followed up via email, but never received a response. The lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company’s hiring process. Everyone’s time is valuable, and candidates deserve to be treated with basic respect and consideration. Not sure how she is still employed with this incompetent behavior. Robert Half please take this seriously and teach your employees to show some courtesy and respect for other peoples time.

Early/Mid April: I reached out to this location after being laid off, I was placed with a recruiter by the name of "Rob Valenzuela, Sr. Talent Director" We had a brief conversation that went well and he set up an interview for a few days later. During the interview Rob hinted at parts of my resume being falsified. I had certain figures and percentages on my résumé and he said that basically if I cannot prove it then it is not real, he also went on to say that “If you did all of this at these previous jobs why are you still not employed by them?” he then went on to boast about his own career accomplishments saying that he’s placed over 10,000 people with the jobs in the 20 years that he’s worked for Robert half (a figure I’m sure he can’t prove) he also told me during this initial interview that I need to redo my résumé as the figures and percentages aren’t a good look and I don’t want to seem “overqualified” instead of feeling encouraged and hopeful I left that interview feeling really discouraged. If I’m being honest I felt Rob was trying to humble me. He was trying to undermine and downplay my experience, which is something people in positions of “power” (using that word loosely) tend to do. I can’t help but think that if Rob and I were the same race, that I would not have had the experience with him, I’d probably would’ve been had a job. After the interview, Rob did inform me that “the market is really slow at the moment but once the weather heats up, the jobs will become available” I countered by saying that at this point, I am so desperate for work. I’m willing to do anything warehouse, retail, food, and Bev, literally anything! I just need to work. A month later I received an email from a recruiter that works with Robert half hiring for a remote position. I sent back my résumé as requested and I Never heard anything back (which was ok as I have a realistic POV and I’m aware remote jobs aren’t as available anymore) Two weeks later (05/20/2024) I reached out to Robert half Ontario hoping to speak to a different recruiter and unfortunately, I was placed back with Rob. He informed me that the remote position had over 10,000 applicants and he stated “well you’re obviously not gonna get hired for that job” (I was taken aback by that comment) Still we continued with the conversation. He talked around in circles and basically said that he is still shopping my résumé around to employers, hoping that they will take me and I need to remain patient and diligent because he’s doing his job. Again, I left this phone call, feeling drained and disappointed. I am also genuinely curious if employers aren’t presently hiring, how are the recruiters at Robert Half Ontario getting paid? Isn’t their pay dependent on people getting jobs? At this moment, Its been exactly a month since I've spoken to Rob and I find that disturbing. If there was nothing that could have been done for me I would’ve preferred that honesty upfront, instead I was told wait till the weather gets bette and filled out forms, updated my references, all in all wasted my time. I won’t be reaching back out either. I’m not gonna beg anybody for anything. Hopefully with this review some of you will think twice before wanting to work with this agency. I personally believe that recruiters should be there to encourage uplift & most of all want to actually help people find work. Not shame them and cast them aside.

Get ready to play "The Agency Game"! How does it work? Simple really. You sign up with an agency, they promise you the sun, the moon, the stars, oh yeah, we can get you a position, quickly and easily, just come in and fill their applications out. They will lie, cheat and steal to get you in the door.... and once you do, you sit down, take assessment tests by the boatload, then have one interview with your representative if you're lucky and then.... *crickets*. Have you ever seen that P and A commercial where the existing customer is made to wait while new clients "always take priority"? Say hello to the day-to-day operations at Robert Half! All they care about is getting people to sign on the dotted line, and once you do, you're lucky if you even get to talk with your representative once in the following year. You're lucky if your representative works there the following year. It gets better. Sometimes they just send you a form letter that sounds nice on paper but it's all just used with mail merge. In other words, they don't even have time for you if you're not a perfect fit with their mold, they just leave you to die with a letter that takes 30 seconds to compose. Did these people forget that you need money to live or that only working pays bills? Yes, they did! it doesn't matter to them whether they hire you or not, their jobs are safe and secure. 10 out of 10 creditors prefer money to excuses when bills need to be paid. Your odds of getting hired by this company? 5 to 8%. That's right. 92 to 95% of people go through the process, get promised everything and then their results? Nothing. All you have to do is look on job sites like Monster or Career Builder. They leave positions unfilled for 3 to 4 weeks, and why? Because they don't care on either end. It's a rigged game, and the game isn't rigged in your favor.
