  I recently shipped almost 20–24 large boxes from St. Catharines to Antigonish, Nova Scotia, as I am moving from my position as an instructor at Brock University to begin a new role as an Assistant Professor at St. Francis Xavier University. Some of the items I shipped were going directly to the university. It was the end of the day, and I know handling such a large shipment could have been overwhelming. However, Marcelo Illipronti was absolutely exceptional. He was incredibly patient, helpful, honest, hardworking, and respectful throughout the entire process. He guided me every step of the way and made what could have been a very stressful experience remarkably easy and smooth. This was only my second experience using FedEx, so I cannot yet comment on the company as a whole. However, I can confidently say that Marcelo Illipronti made my experience with FedEx truly outstanding. His professionalism, kindness, and ability to work with people are exceptional. I am writing this solely because I genuinely appreciated his help, there is no personal connection whatsoever. I simply believe that outstanding employees deserve recognition. In my opinion, FedEx should seriously consider him for a leadership or managerial position, as he clearly knows how to treat customers with respect, patience, and care while maintaining an incredible work ethic. Thank you, Marcelo and Ashley, for making a challenging move and a large shipment process so much easier. Your help was sincerely appreciated and will not be forgotten.

  I had a parcel supposed to deliver today but the driver just put the note on my door that nobody was home without trying to ring the doorbell and knocking even once. I called them and said this happened and showed them that the doorbell is working then they said the driver will deliver it around 4pm. I waited whole Day and tried to contact them again. Suddenly got email that parcel is arriving tomorrow. The timing provided to deliver the parcel was 10:20am to 2:20pm but they are saying in the mail that they came to deliver at 10:04am. There is no way they are supporting the customers.

  Austin from the St Catharines location needs some customer service training and to run on the treadmill instead of running his mouth. I went to ship my package yesterday and he said I couldn't even though I shipped the same package 6 months earlier from the same location with NO issues. I asked him why and for solutions and instead of helping me he said to "Google it" ? Clearly because he doesn't know what he's doing at his job and was just spewing and had no validity to his reason for not being able to ship my package. I immediately went to another FedEx location and shipped my package with NO issues. Austin lacks customer service skills, the ability to find solutions, communication skills, and he clearly has no clue what he is talking about.

  How is it possible that this service attempted to deliver a package, yet in every attempt the delivery driver was too lazy to even ring the doorbell or call me to complete the delivery? Very poor service. I left a 1-star review because of employees like this who either do their job poorly or are simply lazy.
