  I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Bell location. I came here genuinely interested in signing up for Bell home internet and potentially transferring my mobile service from TELUS to Bell. The male employee who assisted me quoted me $105/month for both the 500 Mbps and 1.5 Gbps internet plans, and told me that even if I transferred my mobile line to Bell, the maximum discount would only be $10/month. I told him that $105 seemed very expensive, especially since I was considering bringing both my home internet and mobile service to Bell. His response was honestly shocking. He told me that Bell’s internet is fast and stable, that these are “invisible” benefits that customers are paying for, and then essentially told me that if I thought the price was too expensive, I was not Bell’s target customer. I found that comment extremely condescending and dismissive. I came into the store as a serious potential customer ready to purchase multiple Bell services. Instead of checking available promotions, explaining different options, or trying to help me find a suitable plan, he basically suggested that I wasn’t the type of customer Bell wanted simply because I questioned the price. The most frustrating part is what happened the very next day. I went to the Bell store inside CF Rideau Centre in downtown Ottawa, and the experience was completely different. The lady who helped me there was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. She actually listened to what I needed, explained my options clearly, helped me find a much better and significantly cheaper deal, gave me useful advice on how to structure my services, and even provided me with a $100 gift card. She then helped me set everything up properly, including my home internet and transferring my mobile service. I ended up becoming a Bell customer because of the excellent service I received from her. The difference between these two Bell locations was honestly unbelievable. One employee essentially told me I wasn’t Bell’s “target customer” because I thought $105/month was expensive, while the employee at CF Rideau Centre actually took the time to find a solution and earned my business. If you’re in downtown Ottawa and considering Bell, I strongly recommend going to the Bell store inside CF Rideau Centre instead. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location at all.

  After an awful experience with Bell customer service online and over the phone, I decided to visit a store in-person to try and resolve my issues. Phuong went above and beyond to solve my problem with my phone and managed to get me a better deal with an upgraded phone. Highly recommend this location!

  Phuong service and expertise was phenomenal. He navigated all my inquires with ease and grace. He lowered my phone bill in addition to my requests. I look forward to my return when the time comes to upgrade my phone. 247 Bank street location

  Account and service changes created problems with MyBell app. Calling Bell Support wasted hours and only made the situation worse. After explaining the problems , store staff took it over and resolved. A special thank you to Saif who patiently worked through the situation. Nothing works better than a skilled human mediator. Thank you.
