Moody is a 5 star employee. You should promote him. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided to me. This is why I have purchased my iPhone from Bell and subscribe to Bell satellite services.

I had broken my phone and Sunday July 5th I went to the Apple Store to purchase a new iPhone. Apple set up the phone and then advised me to go upstairs to the Bell store so my eSIM could be activated, since the new iPhone does not use a physical SIM card. When I arrived at the Bell store, the manager was already helping another customer, and there appeared to be only one person visible in the store. I stood at the front waiting for approximately 5 to 10 minutes before another employee finally came out from the back. From the moment he approached me, his attitude was cold, dismissive, and completely unwelcoming. He looked visibly irritated to have to assist me and spoke to me in a condescending way. Mid 20’s early 30’s He looked middle eastern / Arab . I explained that I had just purchased a new phone from Apple and needed my Bell eSIM set up. He scanned the box, did a few things on the computer, and then told me I needed to go back downstairs to Apple for them to complete the setup. I explained that Apple had specifically sent me to Bell because Bell is my provider and the eSIM activation had to be completed through Bell. He repeatedly told me that it was “not his job” and that he had done all he could do. His tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He acted as if helping me was beneath him, and I was made to feel like an inconvenience for simply asking for assistance with a service connected to my Bell account. I left the store, went back downstairs to Apple, and was again told that Bell needed to handle it. I returned to the Bell store and explained this again. My mother also came into the store and spoke with him, but he continued insisting that it was not his job and refused to properly assist us. What made the situation even worse was that both times I entered the Bell store, this employee had been in the back room for an extended period while customers were waiting at the front. As someone who has worked in management before, I find that completely unacceptable. Staff should not be disappearing into the back for long periods of time while customers are left standing there. The employee’s behaviour came across as lazy, dismissive, and arrogant. He gave the impression that he did not want to be there and had no interest in actually helping customers. I was dealing with a stressful situation, needed my phone working urgently because I had to go to work, and instead of receiving proper support from my service provider, I was brushed off and sent away. I went back downstairs to Apple extremely upset and confused. I explained what happened and broke down crying because I was already dealing with an emergency, had just had to replace my phone, and now Bell was refusing to properly help me activate the service I pay for. The Apple employees ended up helping me for approximately 30 minutes and were eventually able to successfully install and activate the eSIM. They also confirmed that the Bell employee had not even completed the process properly. The Apple staff were the ones who encouraged me to file a complaint because they also felt the situation was unacceptable. What I find especially frustrating is that if I had purchased the phone directly from Bell, I highly doubt I would have been treated this way. I believe Bell would have expected its employee to help complete the setup properly. So it makes no sense that because I purchased the phone from Apple, I was suddenly treated like activating my Bell service was not Bell’s responsibility. At the end of the day, I am still a Bell customer. I pay Bell for my service. Activating my eSIM should absolutely fall under basic customer support. I should not have been spoken to with attitude, sent back and forth between stores, or made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. The manager on duty also failed to handle the situation properly. He allowed this type of behaviour to happen in the store and did not step in to ensure I was properly assisted.
