    Very Poor Customer Experience First of all, I'd like to "apologize" to the customer service representative for interrupting what appeared to be a very important phone-watching session when I stopped by around noon today to drop off a package. Incidentally, this was the same package that DHL was originally supposed to pick up from our warehouse today—but that's a story for another time. Behind the feigned politeness, the rules were laid out about who's in charge and how things would proceed if the package was going to be shipped at all. The carefully packaged box contained sensitive electronic components and to my surprise I was told it had to be opened for inspection. A box cutter came across the counter and the package was thus opened. The contents were then removed, laid out on the counter and handled without any form of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Once the manual inspection was complete, everything had to be repacked and resealed with only a small strip of DHL tape. Did I mention these were sensitive electronic components designed to be handled in a static-free environment? It's difficult to understand why a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility would not have some form of non-intrusive screening or scanning process available. Out of curiosity and somewhat rhetorically, does DHL require every package to be opened and inspected this way? We have shipped numerous packages in the past and have never encountered such a requirement before. This experience has caused us, as a growing e-commerce business, to seriously reconsider our shipping options. Fortunately, the decision isn't a difficult one. Moving forward, we will be directing our shipping volume to carriers whose procedures better align with the needs of our business and the proper handling requirements of the products we ship. Reliability, professionalism, and confidence in the shipping process are essential for our customers and our business and unfortunately this experience did not inspire any of those qualities. After this experience, we will be exploring alternative logistics partners for our future growth.

    The WORST shipping company. Lost track of my passport for 5 days, failure to locate the location of my documents, lied about delivery date. Constant delays. A FAILURE as a company for what it represents

    3 weeks waiting. Cant figure out where a package is between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick... they handed it off to loomis Express a 1 star shipping company.. neither of the 2 know how to properly communicate.
