  Will advise my supplier to stop using DHL. Have already stop selecting DHL when I order parts for my business. In the last month 3 of my last 4 packages have been skipped while loading in mount hope or my house skipped on the route Today I got the WhatsApp message saying my driver was close, and when I checked I was 4 stops away. Waited 30 minutes, checked again and watched him drive past my street. Called customer service and said he’s still coming. 2 hours later I got a notification that delivery was attempted and it was 100% not, I was home waiting for it, and I have a ring camera that will show no DHL driver Called customer service and hung up on me

  I’m giving the customer service from the warehouse calling me to help me get this package delivered finally 5 stars. The driver who said my address doesn’t exist without even checking ZERO stars. Thanks to the help of the amazing phone employee we got this sorted out but how on earth does a driver get away with saying an address doesn’t exist without even trying - it’s lazy and pathetic. Finally got my package without having to drive 3 cities over to Hamilton to get it. Customer service incredible. Drivers ability to do their job zero.

  Very Poor Customer Experience First of all, I'd like to "apologize" to the customer service representative for interrupting what appeared to be a very important phone-watching session when I stopped by around noon today to drop off a package. Incidentally, this was the same package that DHL was originally supposed to pick up from our warehouse today—but that's a story for another time. Behind the feigned politeness, the rules were laid out about who's in charge and how things would proceed if the package was going to be shipped at all. The carefully packaged box contained sensitive electronic components and to my surprise I was told it had to be opened for inspection. A box cutter came across the counter and the package was thus opened. The contents were then removed, laid out on the counter and handled without any form of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Once the manual inspection was complete, everything had to be repacked and resealed with only a small strip of DHL tape. Did I mention these were sensitive electronic components designed to be handled in a static-free environment? It's difficult to understand why a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility would not have some form of non-intrusive screening or scanning process available. Out of curiosity and somewhat rhetorically, does DHL require every package to be opened and inspected this way? We have shipped numerous packages in the past and have never encountered such a requirement before. This experience has caused us, as a growing e-commerce business, to seriously reconsider our shipping options. Fortunately, the decision isn't a difficult one. Moving forward, we will be directing our shipping volume to carriers whose procedures better align with the needs of our business and the proper handling requirements of the products we ship. Reliability, professionalism, and confidence in the shipping process are essential for our customers and our business and unfortunately this experience did not inspire any of those qualities. After this experience, we will be exploring alternative logistics partners for our future growth.
