However, there is a "new" counter man who will not give us our packages unless we submit to personal questions. Apparently, we are now to state our names aloud plus hand over our drivers license. I am not about to do this in a public place such as a post office and certainly not to a postal clerk! It's no ones business who I am. Our family has two post office boxes. One has been held for 45 years and the other 30 years. Never have we been grilled in order to receive our mail. There are packages currently sitting at the post that arrived on September 1st and 3rd but we cannot access them because we had not driven to town, hence we were not carrying our drivers license. Since when do we need a drivers license to receive mail from a box for which we hold the keys and pay rent. Since when can we not receive mail for which we hand a yellow slip or any other postal slip to the clerk????
