  I am beyond frustrated and disgusted with the UPS notary office in Montclair.  Their "service" —or lack thereof—provided by the notary at the UPS location cost me time, money, and stress. I needed a sworn statement notarized. After paying for the service, the document was rejected not once, but three separate times by the city agency because the notary's official seal was so illegible that it would not scan properly. As one would expect, the agency requires a clear, scannable image of the seal and notary number, and what I received was a complete, professional failure. Upon the third rejection, I returned to the store and explained the situation to the notary, asking her if she could redo the stamp and signature so that the document would be accepted. Her response was appalling: she refused to correct her mistake saying she had no other stamp or ink.  She made no offer to even look at the document or assist.  When I asked for a refund for the invalid service I paid for, she refused that as well, maintaining that "she did nothing wrong." This is not only incompetent but completely unethical. A notary's primary duty is to provide a valid, accepted seal. When their work fails and they refuse to remedy the situation or provide a refund, it shows a profound lack of professionalism and contempt for the customer. If you need to submit a scanned notarized signature, I highly recommend that you to go elsewhere. This notary's stamp is, for all intents and purposes, useless, and she will waste your time, cost you money, and then refuse to take responsibility. AVOID!

  $5 to print a page is crazy work. I rather go to montclair photo up the street for .25 cents

  If you have a prepaid shipping label, print it out at home, they will charge you several dollars for a single sheet of paper. Incredibly, the bulk of the charge is for sending the email, not the print job. Price gouging plain and simple.

  The worst customer service I have experienced at a UPS store, and I'm a regular UPS Store client. Go to Redwood Road or Piedmont Ave stores instead, which both have solid customer service.
