- EWElizabeth WangDec 17, 20251.0If I could give this post office zero stars, I would. I just wanted 45 min to buy stamps. Brought my sick child hoping it'd be in and out. When at the front, I was told they ran out of stamps. PUT UP A SIGN!
- LRLinda RDec 13, 20251.0Unreliable. Went here on a Saturday at 1:30 less than 2 weeks before Christmas. The post office closes at 2. I checked the USPS website before going. There was no notice on the website that it was closed, but when I got there, the door had a note on it that said "closed". Apparently, from reading the other reviews, this happens frequently. Their lobby slot to take packages was too full and the outside mailbox slot was too small to take a one inch thick package. Closed during the holidays with no warning. Super inconvenient. Also, the outside mailbox said pick up on Saturdays was at 1:45pm, but nobody came to pick up the mail at that time. What makes it worse is if you use Click-n--Ship, that service forces you to schedule a date for the package, and my label was printed for that day, so I had to find another post office that was still open. Fortunately, the Elmwood post office was open until 3. Had the buses been running late, I wouldn't have made it. Generally I go to the Piedmont post office, even though it is further for me, because this isn't the first time I have had problems at this Lake Park 94610 post office.
- MMMichaelDec 11, 20251.0Some of the people at this post office are just rude or cold. And maybe selectively. The lady was nice to women in front of me. After she finished helping the person in front of me another coworker came in and the women just started chit chatting with her no acknowledgment of me the next customer so I’m just patiently waiting for her to finish her conversation with her coworker. I walk up and said hello lady doesn’t say anything so I put the box in the thing she takes it processes it. I ask am I supposed to select what type of shipment I want she mumbles something I said sorry I couldn’t hear you, she doesn’t say anything so I just said can I have ground shipping and see total come up on screen and I pay. She slides me the receipt I said thanks have a nice day she says nothing. Like man total night and day from how she treated the person before me. Rude as hell.
