I just popped in to get some paper, no big deal. They have a good selection at competitive prices. This store is always clean and well stocked. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

Mireya is so rude. I went to return an item at staples and Mireya saw me and was like what are you here for? With a high tone. I told her I'm here for a return. And she seem but hurt that I was there. And then she didn't even look at me. Also according to her staples don't gave out receipts when you return an item.

Charmaine is the rudest customer service representative I’ve ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with. You can tell she hates her job just by the way she handles people and social interactions. Hope she finds a job where she doesn’t work with people because just returning an Amazon order was too much for her to not be nice.

I am writing this because I have now had two separate, deeply frustrating experiences with an employee named Miedya. I actually avoided this location for over 6 months after the first incident, and returning today only confirmed that her unprofessional attitude is a consistent pattern. First Incident: Last year, I waited in an empty Amazon line for five minutes while Miedya ignored me to sweep the floor. When she finally acknowledged me, she was incredibly combative. She insisted that I hold my phone myself rather than letting it sit on the counter while I grabbed the item out of my bag (I had multiple returns, so I was trying to grab the item while she scanned), and then repeatedly snapped at me to "angle it." When I explained that I didn't know which direction she needed it angled—up, down, left, or right—she simply responded, “If you’re not going to angle it, then I can’t help you.” She refused to clarify her instructions and treated a simple scan like a test I was failing. Second Incident (Today): I decided to give this store another chance. Ironically, Miedya helped me again, and this time she had no issue scanning the QR codes while the phone sat on the counter—the very thing she claimed she "couldn't do" previously. However, the dismissiveness remained. As soon as the last item was scanned, Miedya immediately turned her back and began walking away. I had to stop her and ask for a printout confirmation, to which she curtly replied, "We don't do that anymore," without slowing down. I then had to project my voice just to ask how I would receive proof of the return. She replied "you'll get an email from Amazon" and immediately called the next person in line, dismissing me. I want to be clear: I am perfectly fine with a change in store policy regarding paper receipts. What I am not fine with is being treated like a nuisance for asking basic questions. Miedya dismissed me before I could even ask about the new Party City inventory or finish our interaction. She didn't ask if there was anything else she could help me with (bc there was) she just called the next person in line like she was done with me. She could have better basic customer service skills in explaining their change in policy instead of vague responses and dismissiveness. After checking other reviews, it is clear I am not the only one who has experienced her poor attitude.
