- KEKendra EreautJun 22, 20261.0I upgraded my phone about 6 weeks ago at Bell, and while the service was good they all failed to mention that the new S26 has a common problem of not receiving texts or extremely delayed texts because of the Google Messages app. I found out this problem after I got home. When I went back to the store and explained that I'm not receiving 99% of texts and the ones I am getting are about 10 minutes delayed they're response was "Oh yeah that's a common problem, there's nothing we can do as it's an app problem, not us. It doesnt affect everyone." Seeing as this is a problem they're aware of I feel like they should at least let potential buyers know. I'm now stuck with a phone that does not do the most basic thing and I'm supposed to "just wait until Google fixes it", I feel like that's unacceptable as I now have a phone that's practically useless for an undetermined amount of time.
