- RCR CCApr 2, 20261.0Amazon uses USPS for deliveries for residential apparently in Mt. Shasta. Even thought it has a legitimate address they will not delivery unless they get a $50 fee and giving a key. I had a Amazon order they wouldn't deliver. I called the Mt. Shasta post office and they said they still had it and would hold it for us to pick up. I gave them the date we would pick it up. We would need ID to pick it up. To my surprise, they returned it to Amazon after they said they would hold it until the date we gave them.. No credit is show on Amazon or proof they returned. I just hope USPS workers didn't steal it from the post office. Very strange post office management.

Guessing the 1 stars probably came folks who got up on the wrong side of the bed.

I made a long trip based on this info and was simply told that the reason they closed was "because it was New Year's Eve." Best check that they're open before you go.
