This is my second time returning to this particular post office after giving it a subpar review regarding the customer service at the counter. On this particular occasion, the lines were beyond horrendous! It was as if it were days away from Christmas! They were two equally long lines. One to pick up mail and the other to send out. I must say this location must be poorly led as there was not enough organization to handle the situation. It took 17 minutes to finally get to the counter. But I will say that after my encounter with Mr. Donald, it really made every minute worth waiting. His customer service was extraordinary as he was exemplary and had a million smile that surely changed the atmosphere for me. He was extremely professional in making sure I was completely satisfied before sending me on my way. It’s employees like this that’s really give USPS the distinction that it deserves. Thank you, Mr. Donald. I look forward to be assisted by you again…

A nightmare. Never seen a line that long and an aggressive homeless person was sitting inside the entrance. Major changes needed.

I am writing to express my concern regarding my recent experiences while attempting to pick up my mail at this location. Due to a break-in at the mailboxes in my apartment complex, I am currently required to pick up my mail in person. I had not visited this facility in over five years; the last time I was here was for passport services. On my first visit, after waiting in line, I was informed that I was in the wrong line and that mail pickup was on the opposite side. I recalled that side previously being used for passport services. I was told that the line I had initially joined was only for paid services, so I had to rejoin a different line. I returned this morning to pick up my mail and joined the line designated for mail pickup. After waiting for over five minutes, an employee informed me that there was only one line that day. I explained that this contradicted what I had been told during my previous visit and asked how customers are expected to know which line is in use on any given day. Another employee approached and stated that this information was announced when the office opened, then became argumentative. I attempted to explain my prior experience, but he dismissed my concerns, stated he was going to lunch, and told a coworker that I could “wait there all I wanted.” At the time, there were customers present on the side I had originally been waiting on, which reasonably led me to believe service was being provided there. I was ultimately forced to move and wait in the other line. Additionally, while I was waiting, I overheard an employee discussing the incident with another customer in a manner that suggested I was being characterized as rude, which I found unprofessional. Other customers in line shared that they had experienced similar confusion and even offered to let me go ahead of them, though I declined. Later, another customer entered and went directly to the mail pickup line, and this time an employee immediately corrected him, which highlighted the inconsistency in communication. Overall, this experience reflects a need for clearer communication and better line management. Clear signage, verbal direction upon entry, or an audible announcement indicating which line is open would greatly reduce confusion and frustration for customers. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve customer service and prevent similar experiences in the future. Thank you for your time and attention.

This is a tiny post office that's obviously been around for a few decades. But there's almost no parking (which is hard to access) and it's difficult to find and get into. You also can't just drive up to a mail box. You have to walk all the way up almost to the door to mail something and at that point, you might as well go inside (which should have a convenient mail slot, but it doesn't). I will say that this last time I went in this post office, the lady behind the counter was at least pleasant. I think it's actually a pretty pathetic post office though, for such a large city. It has become very difficult to find US Post Offices these days. Not thrilled with this location, but don't have many options.
