ZagarisFeb 26, 20261.0I purchased a laptop from a seller on eBay with a value of $1,888 tracking#9410808106244817587069 USPS tried to deliver the package to my door 2/23/26 but I was away at lunch. I saw the carrier at my door on my Nest Camera and had a conversation with him asking him to leave it at my door but he said it required a signature. He then informed me that the package was damaged, opened and missing all contents. At that point I did not want to take possession of the parcel because I needed to file a dispute with eBay. The carrier scanned the parcel as "No Access to Delivery Location" and "Insufficient Address" which are both factually incorrect obviously since they were at my door. Due to this incorrect tracking information I am unable to successfully file for a refund with eBay and now the seller is out a laptop and I am out $1,888. The supervisor at the Hudson Station on Sylvan Ave told me that internally, they have more comprehensive tracking records that show the parcel was damaged, opened and missing contents but refused to provide any official records or documents to me as to that stated fact. Because of this I have filed a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain all internal tracking records for this parcel. Long story short, someone in the USPS logistical chain opened the package, stole the laptop and the USPS has been stone walling me every step of the way as I try to obtain a refund with eBay.

- RSRose StewartFeb 4, 20261.0This is the worse Post office when it comes to speak to a live person. I was on the phone for almost 10 minutes before the machine told me to leave my cell phone number. So someone can call me.. I'm having problems with not getting my mail delivered or being delivered to others, like my neighbors. Horrible horrible. That is not customer service at all!!
