I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this location. I came in seeking help with a piece of Certified Mail that has been delayed for over a week and is related to a time-sensitive legal matter. I politely asked for assistance with opening a trace, getting documentation of the delay, and discussing possible options. Unfortunately, I was not offered any meaningful help. No trace was opened, no documentation was provided, and I felt dismissed rather than supported. As a customer who paid for Certified Mail specifically for reliability and accountability, this was very frustrating. I had to spend additional time and energy trying to fix a situation that was not my fault. I expect better customer service, especially when someone is dealing with important legal documents. I hope management provides better training and support so other customers don’t experience the same thing.

A little hint for others who ship often: Do NOT drop off at the post office UNLESS you need a receipt/acceptance scan-in. I have no idea why, but this post office takes forever to get packages out. Multiple times now I have dropped off first thing in the morning and the package doesn't move for days. I'm not sure if they put them together in batches first or if this location is just slow. Here's a tip: drop off at a UPS store, they accept USPS packages and have multiple pickups a day, meaning your package will go directly on a truck, and most likely to Sacramento by EOD. The only catch is you won't get a receipt and the tracking won't show "scanned into post office", which can be important when shipping expensive packages.

Very rude and unprofessional. I came in today 11/25/2025 between 2:15pm and 2:45pm. There’s a wait and I’m on crutches, disabled. I was having pain with my leg about to give up on me, and I politely asked the man with white hair behind the counter for a chair. He told me that they don’t have chairs. I pointed at the chair behind him and he said “we can’t let you use our chair” I asked why and he sighed rudely and ignored me. A lady even said he was being rude for no reason. He was busy happily chit chatting with other white customers about Thanksgiving and making drinks, but he was cold and made me feel unwelcome.

Rick is EXTREMELY rude. I don’t know why he is up on the counter if he acts like he doesn’t want to work there.
