The delivery drivers make mistakes and forget to make a delivery or fail to organize their route correctly then place false customers request to hold mail and or false delivery obstacles to not make their delivery not the first time it's happened and doubt it's the last I never asked for them to be held and how can it be out for delivery and same day be retracted to be held why in the world would I suddenly long after the regular time mail runs request it to be held for pick up

A package containing $1200 worth of valuables disappeared once it arrived at the post office, the website said it was at the Post office, but they claim to not have it. They won't help me, they are very rude. Someone is stealing packages at this post office. And I know I'm not the only one this has happened too.

Though generally the service and employees are very good, this PO gets a low rating from me because on 2 occasions, 1st class letters (cost $1.07) with silver coins in them went missing. I now mail them 1st class (cost $1.07) from the Mid Pines PO and they do get through from that location. Otherwise, it is ridiculous to be charged $8.14 by the PO for tracked mail for a coin that sold on eBay for $42. My 1st class letters (with silver coins) have always gotten through for 14 years (1999-2013) at the North Fork PO. I'm glad I sold my last coin a few weeks ago.

Service has turned from decent, good, excellent to complete garbage; newest contract worker for my route makes no attempt to deliver and automatically hits the digital 'flag' for any package that will not fit in a mailbox - that is they do not even pick it up and load it into their vehicle but automatically reject delivering it when they are sorting packages for their route - time stamps of texts coupled with no vehicle from USPS nearby delivering mail verifies this. Dogs? Rule is to tap your horn and stay in the vehicle; people are home who will come out to receive the package 85% of the time. Like others have said, no one answers the phone, ever, anymore. Service in the Post Office is slow at best and staff can be heard complaining in the back. Courtesy to face is good but obviously strained. Kudos for putting on a working game face but not enough to offset the overall service which is non-existent and completely faked. Rather obvious from what is delivered versus notifications via email service, it is obvious the person delivering my route skips houses or days as they see fit, on top of no attempt to deliver any package but the smallest. Complete 180 from the previous 8+ (using just my experience) years of service which was seamless and professional almost all of the time. Judging by the number of people coming into the office to pick up packages, daily, and complaints I have heard, I am far from a random person dealing with this utter lack of respect, professionalism, and service. To make matters worse, USPA will not deliver mail or packages, packages being critical, to even businesses within the 'town' area. All business packages need to be sent to addresses outside this area since no boxes, which one would be forced to pay for monthly, exist large enough for most business packaging. Trivial? Not for someone busy who now must set time aside to pick up packages during set open hours nd wait in line s long s 30 minutes or more because so many now need to go into the office to get them.

The worst service ever! My packages are supposed to be delivered to my door. It's within the half of mile. Which is there rule. But even the post master won't do a dam thing about it or even answer the phone!
