  I’ve dropped off Amazon returns here many times without any issues, but today’s experience was honestly disappointing. I was second in the Amazon return line, and there was only one associate working. When it was my turn, she turned to help the checkout line instead, which about four people were waiting there. At first, I understood since she had just helped the person ahead of me, but instead of alternating between the two lines, she kept assisting checkout customers one after another while leaving the Amazon return line completely unattended. After she moved on to the third checkout customer, I finally spoke up and said, “Excuse me, can’t you see I’ve been waiting here?” She turned to me and responded, “Yes, I know. I’m the only one working right now. Give me a few minutes,” and continued serving the rest of the checkout line. When the line was cleared out and the associate finally came back to assist me, I asked if the checkout line had priority, and she said she just had to “clear the line first.” If that’s the policy, then what’s the point of having separate lines? Customers in the Amazon return line shouldn’t be made to feel invisible just because the store is short-staffed. It’s not about impatience — it’s about fairness and respect for everyone’s time. A potential few minute visit turned into a 15-20 minute visit. SMH For management’s reference, the associate was a woman in her late 20s with glasses, pink-dyed hair, and a chubby build. She wasn’t rude, but the way she handled the situation was unprofessional and inconsiderate. Hopefully, management can provide better training or clearer procedures so customers don’t have to go through this again.

  I wanted to give a shout out to Monica from the manteca location. I went into this location and Monica was the only one working In shipping and the spot were everyone goes to print and make copies ect.. When I walked up Monica was helping a lady, however she still took time to tell me that she would be right with me. When she finished with her she asked me what I needed help with and I told I need to make a card. She said okay can you come back in like 45mins I have to take my lunch I said sure. Long story short I went back Monica was able to help me and I was very pleased with the way she helped me set everything up. I had know clue of what I was doing but with Monica's help it all worked out. Monica thank you again for all your help and for the Manager please get Monica some help she called for help and someone would come and help 1 person then leave wth not cool.

  Came by for Amazon returns - it took very long (20 minutes) with just 4 people ahead of me. The personnel was very slow and showed no interest in speeding things up to help customers. This is very upsetting experience - lazy attitude while customers are waiting in line.

  Came in to return Amazon item. The employee with orange hair didn't greet me upon helping me because she talking to another employee, while scanning my returns. She slapped a sticker on one of the returns closer to me and scanned the phone I tell her "thats the wrong one"...she continues to converse with the other employee and proceeds to grab same bag. I figure she must know what she's doing. Then grabs the return closer to her and waits for my scan..I told her this is incorrect and the one prior is the actual return. She had the nerve to tell me...."Next time you should tell me before hand" I looked at her in disbelief...I then told her "I tried to tell you but you were talking to that other employee" She says "oh". Really staples? We must do better. When an employee is tending a customer that is the main priority. 2nd if you'd like to converse with other employees and try to multi-task ..do it correctly Last but least don't be rude..you are working with customers face to face everyday. Learn to be cordial, take responsibility, and apologize if you are doing other duties other than helping than the customer.
