This has to be the worst post office I’ve ever went to and I frequent post offices often. I went there several times and they close 10 to 20 minutes before the actual closing time. Any other post office I’ve went to has never done this before. One time I went there and they close the door on my face stating that somebody got sick an employer or something and they had to shut the whole post office down, which is not normal. It would be understandable if it didn’t happen like most days but what’s the excuse now. Is somebody getting sick every Day. Even then, aren’t you just supposed to send the person home instead of shutting the whole post office down. being that it is a government entity you think they do better than that specially with closing early and some people are trying to make it to the post office before it closes and unfortunately, this is the closest one near me. I hope that a supervisor of somebody who actually has say so of this post office above whoever is approving this monitors closely I mean, obviously everyone is agreeing or you know, saying they’re gonna go home early, but if your post office closes at 5:30 it should be open until 530 or change your hours.

Incompetent mix-up! Train your staff better! I stopped by my local USPS with a stack of 5x7 letter envelopes containing very important milestone announcements for family. The first clerk glanced at them, grabbed a sheet of stamps, and said, “You’re set—just drop them off.” The stamps looked cute but it looked off from a normal Forever stamp but hey I’m no expert. I went to a second window to double-check. That employee examined the envelopes and immediately I needed additional postage on each one. She corrected the issue, but couldn’t explain why the first clerk had given me the wrong stamps or why no one had checked the envelopes properly upfront. I kept asking and she said “I don’t have time for this I have a long line”. I said “ you should tell your coworker then that she gave me wrong instructions”. If I had followed the original instructions and dropped them off as-is, my recipients would likely have received “postage due” notices or the cards would have been returned to me. Not the way you want important family news to arrive! Staff should know the basics! Postcard stamps versus letter postage and when something needs extra handling. One clerk fixed it, but the initial confusion wasted time and created unnecessary risk.

I drop my mail off here what else can I say. Their slow in delivering mail though like I be getting important documents like 3 weeks or 2 months after the deadline...

I had a very frustrating experience at the USPS post office today. There was only one employee working, which caused a long line and a wait time of about 30 minutes just to drop off a package and buy stamps. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff and some of the people inside the office. The environment felt unfriendly and rude, which made an already long wait even more unpleasant. I’m also surprised that there are no self-service options available here like in many other post offices. A self-service kiosk or drop-off area would help reduce wait times for simple tasks like buying stamps or dropping off prepaid packages. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. This location could really benefit from better staffing, improved customer service, and basic self-service options to make things easier for customers.
