USPS employees represent a federal government agency and are expected to conduct themselves in a polite, respectful, and professional manner when serving the public. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this particular location did not reflect those standards. The staff appeared dismissive and unprofessional, creating an uncomfortable environment for customers. I visited the branch to mail several Priority Express packages and asked an employee named “Manny” if I could use Priority Express tape. He stated that they did not have any available. When I politely asked if another employee might have some, he responded that they did not have any and added that he would not provide it even if they did. While waiting in line afterward, I noticed the same tape available at other service windows. I approached another employee, who kindly provided it without issue. After securing my package, I returned the tape to Manny. When I asked for his name in order to file a formal complaint about the interaction, he became visibly upset and walked away. Several minutes later, he returned with the manager. The manager listened to my concerns and apologized for my experience, which I appreciated. However, due to the interaction and the lack of professionalism displayed, I chose not to mail my packages at this location, as I no longer felt confident entrusting them there. I hope this feedback encourages a review of customer service standards at this branch to ensure that all customers are treated with courtesy and respect.

I don’t know about these other people, but these folks took my passport photo no problem (maybe it’s been fixed?). Great service here; only downside is the weird hours but I love this USPS for mailing and passport services.

This post office is fascinating. They figured out how to provide customer service that is the perfect blend of inefficient and apathetic.
