The female manager in charge on weekends is lazy and lied to me. I was told she would have one of her carriers handle the replacing of a lock mechanism on my buildings box. Fast forwarding to now, a month later - - nothing has been done and the entire building has to stop pick up mail from the post office. I’ll be filing a complaint on this manager and she will provide me the steps how to do so when I come out this weekend to do so. I’ll be wearing my meta glasses to catch her being unprofessional and hostile… Catalina LLC.

This place is RACIST!!!! I came in to drop something off and was told to use the kiosk. Since it was my first time using it, I politely asked the staff for help. Apparently, asking for assistance is a huge inconvenience. Instead of helping, they refused, acted irritated, and made comments like “Jesus,” which really added to the welcoming atmosphere. The best part? The place wasn’t busy at all. No line. No rush. Just staff who clearly didn’t feel like doing their job. What should have been a simple drop-off turned into an awkward and uncomfortable experience where I felt dismissed and embarrassed for asking a basic question. I also couldn’t help but wonder whether I was treated this way because I’m Asian, as the level of irritation felt completely unnecessary and disproportionate to a polite request for help. If the expectation is “figure it out yourself and don’t ask,” maybe put that on the door. Otherwise, some basic customer service training might be helpful — especially for first-time customers.

The service time on weekdays written at the entrance is until 5:30, but I am not allowed to pick up at five o'clock.

I just learned from my mail carrier family member that many post offices are understaffed because greedy managers are paid whatever is left over from the budget at the end of the year.

I highly recommend NOT sending or receiving anything in bright colored envelopes (whether it be a letter, card, photo(s), gift card, money, etc.). One of these mailmen and/or postal workers has been opening up my mail.. I'll receive my mail already ripped open and contents inside gone/ STOLEN. Also, plan accordingly if you have to go inside. It's almost always a slow and long process no matter how many people are in line. Try to go in the morning if you can. Lastly, customer Service can be a hit or miss at this USC location.
