UPS Store @ 8033 Sunset lost my package (never recovered).
Chris, the manager, had a rude argumentative attitude insisting that he personally gave me the package (he never helped me, this was our introduction) and the fact that he never apologized after security video revealed, he was wrong is a more accurate representation of him both professionally and personally. Chris is incapable of accepting criticism or admitting fault. Awful manager! Horrible customer service!
Recommendation: Do not let UPS sign for your packages! Make sure you sign for every package, and your signature is the number of packages you received "1, 2, 3," so if you're missing one, they can't accuse you of taking all. Make sure you only use credit cards (not cash or debt) so you have some recourse if they lose your mail because ownership and management will only offer store credit to awful customer service.
I encourage UPS National Corporation to verify the Oct 8th security video between Chris and me to show other store managers how not to manage if their store loses customers' mail. I'm requesting a full refund ($372) to seek another mailbox provider. Will update,

Multiple times when I've come here to drop off a prepaid package, there is one particular employee who will say they can't accept it because it isn't a proper box, even though it is. Today it was a very thick white shoe box taped solidly all around. When I ask him what's wrong with it he said, "it has to be a plain brown or white box."
I said, this is a plain white box. He replied that it has a shoebox label on it. The label was a tiny 2 inch sticker. I said okay so I can just peel it off? He said no, because it's a shoebox, it's considered "transparent packaging."
What???
Confused, I say, "it's a solid white box, you can't see through it. If I remove this little sticker then there are no other markings on it."
The other package he had already accepted was covered in labels and printing from the product. It was far from a plain brown or white box, yet it was fine.
I asked him why that one was fine and this plain white box isn't.
He replied, as he always does, "I'm not going to argue with you. I've already explained it several times."
I said okay I'll just take it home then but then he said, "it's fine, I already scanned it.." Like now he's the benevolent UPS God deciding to do me a favor and let it slide.. Again, what?! Either you can accept this package or you can't. If you can accept it, and you already scanned it, why the attitude??
For the record this is the third or fourth time this has happened here. I ship packages several times a week and have never had a single issue anywhere else.
