I was told when I first went in to see how it worked that both my husband and I, as co-owners of the business, could pick up mail, so we paid for one year. However, once it was set up, only my husband is allowed to pick up mail. They will not add my name as an authorized person to also get mail. We asked them to add my name; they refused. We asked to cancel the new account and set up a new one, they said we'd have to pay for an additional year. This is the stupidest, most user-unfriendly thing I've heard of. What if my husband was out of town, or temporarily unable to get the mail? It's held hostage? Had I known this I would never have set this up. I hope this note makes them see sense and change this idiotic policy. ***Update Oct 27--Despite my having emailed the company as suggested by "the owner," I have had no satisfaction on this issue. None. The owner of this particular UPS Store has the ability to make this right, but has chosen not to.
