Consistently the worst service and treatment you will ever experience at a ups store. The employees treat you with contempt, disdain, hostility and belittle you. Aa a senior i cannot emphasize enough how horrible you will be treated. The employees laughed, about how despicable they treated me. Stay away, go anywhere else. All the latter gets worse and worse every year. You have been warned. To: the owner, I talked to the manager long hair looks 20 years old. Explained all the latter. He shrugged and said "eh" and he and the girl with glasses that treated me horribly laughed at me. Then it all made sense they behave like this because there is no repercussions for their actions. The manager fosters the stores hostile environment and facilitates the employees belittling behavior.

I run a side business with my wife selling culinary products that require refrigeration and cold-chain shipping, including next day air shipping. I package the boxes, pre-print labels, and merely drop off packages at this location to be scanned in and sent on their way. There is one worker at this location who was extremely rude and disrespectful, accusing me of shipping beer. He sniffed the box and told me that it "smelled like beer." I will repeat, he sniffed the box like a dog would, and accused me of shipping beer! And then repeatedly asked me questions in an accusatory tone, accusing me of shipping some type of banned goods. He then reported my two packages to UPS, and both underwent security screening and of course passed the screening, but this resulted in a 3-day shipping delay (because of the weekend), requiring a re-ship to the customer. The person I am talking about is tall with long hair and a cocky attitude, and again, extremely disrespectful.

Gotta love 4 college kids chatting with each other for 5 minutes before acknowledging someone with a package in their hands waiting to be helped 😂😂😂

Absolutely terrible experience. I ship overseas frequently and know international rates well. Yesterday the same small box was about $180 with FedEx, yet this UPS Store quoted me $450, which is extreme overpricing. When I questioned it, the staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, with no effort to explain or help. One employee handed me the owner’s card and told me to email him, and even mentioned that employees are treated very badly by the boss, which explains the hostile attitude. UPS corporate should review this location, as it feels like a franchise taking advantage of both customers and staff. Avoid this store and take your business elsewhere.

My son‘s car was towed in Berkeley, and I had to send a document to him via overnight mail for him to be able to retrieve the car from the impound lot. I had the document notarized at this UPS location and then ask them to mail it, with an expected arrival time the next day before 12 noon. Unfortunately, the package did not arrive the next day, nor the day after that, nor the day after that! The package arrived on the fourth day. By that time, the towing company charged me an additional $300 because of the delay. Holy smokes! While waiting for the package to arrive, I spent several hours on the phone with UPS customer service agents - polite service workers from India, who had absolutely no ability to help me in any way. I did speak to Mark, who I believe is one of the managers at this UPS location, and he diligently filed a claim on my behalf to UPS central offices which allowed me to recover the $61 I had spent for overnight delivery, as the delivery time is guaranteed. However, they did nothing about the additional $300 I lost, which was entirely their fault. Again this is not the fault of this particular UPS location but my goodness what an epic failure by UPS to fail to do what their most basic function is, namely to get packages to their destinations on time. I will never use this delivery service again. I’m sorry to say. I feel bad leaving this post because I have hardly ever left a negative review in my entire life. UPS really needs to step up its game. Until then, I guess I am a FedEx customer.
