I don’t usually leave reviews but after my last experience I feel like I should. I am a small business owner that prints quite often (every other week or so). While this location is closer to me, I find myself going to the one on Figueroa because of their consistency in quality and service. I’m not sure what the deal is with the folks in the printing department here but it’s very hot or cold. Their printing machines are terribly inconsistent. Half of them print color pages with streak marks and or lines and the other half of the machines are out of order. Usually when I print a page and the color is off, I’ve had no problem going to an associate to ask them to print it quickly behind the counter as their printers are more reliable. ONE PAGE. The lady told me it would take one hour for it to process. I mean come on, one hour for one page that I already paid for? I get it if they were busy but it was literally me and one other person there. I went to three different machines and none of them printed out my flyer correctly. She also would not offer me a refund. After the third machine failed to give me a decent print I just left.
It doesn’t get any better with online orders. They are very slow to process orders. Mind you again, I only order a few flyers at most. Online they will quote you “ready before 7:30 pm” and they really wait till the last minute to get it printed where the Fig location, even if I send it to print at like midnight, by 930-11 am the next day, an email is sent that it’s ready for pick up. I once sent an order to print the day before and I showed up at 5pm hoping it would be ready. It was one page, and of course they said it wasn’t. Half the time I send it to this location there is email, no text or anything to let me know the order is ready.
I really just come here when I need something last minute because it’s the more convenient location but after that last interaction I will just eat the time and distance and go to Fig.
