  Attention the detail. They absolutely suck. They have an app where you can give specific instructions to driver so your package can be delivered on time don’t even bother. They will completely ignore it. And if you called to complain, their customer service will retaliate. When placing my order, I saw the shipment would be delivered through DHL, so I proactively went onto your website and submitted detailed delivery instructions for my building’s intercom gate system. I clearly provided the access code the driver needs to dial in order to enter the property. I completed this ahead of time specifically to prevent any delivery delays. Despite this, I received a notification stating delivery was attempted but the driver could not access the building due to the gate — which indicates the provided instructions were not followed. I then contacted DHL customer service to resolve the issue. During the call, I explained that I had already submitted access instructions and asked why customers are given the option to provide delivery details if those instructions are not being used. The agent appeared rushed, dismissive, and unwilling to address the concern, repeatedly referring only to procedure rather than helping resolve the situation. I made it clear that this package was time-sensitive and needed to be delivered today, which is precisely why I submitted access instructions in advance. Instead of assisting, the agent informed me delivery would be moved to Monday. I explained that this was not acceptable due to urgency, and shortly after, the delivery date was changed again to Tuesday — a date I never agreed to. I find this extremely concerning. Not only were DHL’s own delivery procedures not followed, but the outcome feels punitive rather than corrective. I fulfilled my responsibility by providing accurate access information, yet the failed delivery was followed by an unnecessary and extended delay. I am requesting a review of this incident, clarification on why delivery instructions were ignored, and immediate action to correct the delivery schedule.
