Veronica, the nicest person I've ever met at a post office. What a rockstar!

Wow I wasn't sure about this place because of old reviews but to the contrary the staff was super friendly to me when picking up my general delivery. She was awesome 👍 thanks again.

I spoke with Jeff at Lone Pine post office on two occasions. I had a package delivered there for some PCT hikers and they missed the stop. Jeff was so kind to change the address and forward the package to a different stop. He went out of his way to make sure the package is delivered. It is so nice to deal with kind people in the service professions. Thank you Jeff, from Wisconsin.

The head cashier here is very rude and unfriendly. On top of that, she is an extortionist. General Delivery is a free service offered by USPS, and she charged me $10.75 to pick up two small packages. I even called ahead to ensure they offered general delivery, and there was no mention that I was going to be charged for packages I had already paid shipping for. A local stopped me outside and said that what she did was very wrong and that everyone in town has problems with this particular clerk. She allegedly doesn't charge locals for their mail but only charged travelers since it's a popular travel destination. It's really not okay that she did this. I recommend not stopping here if you are just passing through, since you will not be treated with any kindness or respect.
