- CKCurtis KingeryJan 10, 20221.0They cant read at the live oak post office. Every other day i get mail from other people people that live dozens of houses away. Ive gotten prescription meds, bills, pay checks all of them needing to go nowhere near me. Makes me wonder how much mail ive lost because of this. Ive gone down there to set them straight but nobody even acts like it matters. And there is no way to call them. All i have to say is you better get your act together before i go to the postmaster or whomever cares about mail in this state.
- BSbubba smithDec 10, 20181.0Tried to purchase Christmas stamps around 11 am at Live Oak post office. Two employees ? overwhelmed (again) by having three customers ? I asked for specific Christmas stamps. Employee said "Christmas stamps locked up in the safe. The boss needs to be here to open safe to obtain Christmas stamps." My response was "this is Christmas, are these different from regular stamps?" His answer was "these stamps are for Christmas only and boss keeps Christmas stamps in safe until Christmas." So without further drama I purchased regular stamps not wanting to wait for "boss" to come in ?? Everytime we try to purchase, mail or discuss with Live Oak Post office employees is like they are (have been smoking weed BIGLEY). Closed Saturday and closed @ 4pm during week ? Only reason for one star... could not have choice for zero "0" star ! Embarrassing bunch of civil servants (employees) ? wasting Taxpayers Money.

Each worker I've encountered has always been rude or short when spoken to. Couldn't even open a P.O. Box, although all of the requirements were fulfilled. Worker claimed there were new requirements, but couldn't provide documentation to show as truth. I went to Yuba City with the same requirements and had NO problems. Having to go to another town to do anything postal is ridiculous, but worth the trip to be treated respectfully.
