  Believe me, I never thought I would be writing a review for a shipping store like UPS until I experienced the absolute worst customer service in all of my years. The agonizingly terrible service that I've received here has been consistent on all three of the times that I've had the displeasure of visiting out of necessity. As a resident of Lafayette, I'd rather drive out to another city just to avoid the terrible staffing choices made by this "locally owned and operated" business. The first time I visited this location, I walked in for fingerprinting services and one of the staff wearing a spiked leather collar rudely told me to come back another day because he couldn't help me since he was the only person working at the time while there was literally just one other customer in the store. He cut me off in the middle of my question just to reiterate that there was no way he could help me and that I should come back some other day. When asked when there is typically enough workers to accommodate this service, I was met with attitude and unwillingness to help. My second experience was to drop off a package. There were two young female workers on duty and one of them literally was sitting down in a chair with her feet up on top of a printer of some sort with no shame or urgency when customers came in. Of course, it was the other employee that had to help me out since the girl with her feet up couldn't be bothered to move or even greet me. The third experience was a simple return drop off. I stood at the counter and watched two young male employees in the back room goofing around and not paying any attention to the front door or the line. Finally, an older employee who was helping someone at the desk by the door had to verbally call one of the employees by name to come out and assist me. I'm not sure if this location's owners only hires their children and their friends or what but there has been zero basic customer service skills to be found here. If they are truly locally owned and operated, they should care about locals to the area (repeat customers) and want their experience at their store to be positive. They need to make some big changes.
