  On Saturday March 14, 2026, I visited the La Puente Post Office on Elliot Street, and I must express my disappointment with the service I received. We arrived before 10:00 AM, well before the advised time for walk-ins, as a clerk had previously informed me that we needed to be there before 11:00 AM for passport services. However, when we approached the counter, an African American employee with braids was extremely rude and dismissive. He abruptly told us that there were no more walk-ins available and complained about the inconvenience of having to stay until 4 PM if he assisted us. This lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable. I expected better service from the La Puente Post Office, and I hope they address these issues to improve the experience for future customers. This place doesn’t deserve not even one star

  Often a positive experience every time I come to the post office :) There’s often a line, but it moves quickly. The new scanning machine helps me avoid long lines for when I just need to scan a pre-purchased label.

  Well, after reading these reviews, there’s no wonder that you’re a 2.1* Here I was thinking that the error was made because of temporary help being hired at the holidays, but I guess not. One of my packages was misdelivered last week and I went in the very next day and I was told that they could see where the package was misdelivered , so they would pick it up and deliver it to me. It’s now 8 days later and I have not received the package or gotten an update of what happened to the package. I’ve tried calling several times at various times and nobody answers. I’m new to this area, but I’m just really shocked at the level of lack of knowledge at this location . Before I moved here, I lived in Orange County and I knew my mailman and he knew me, here is so very different. My neighbor told me that we do not have a regular carrier so I know mistakes will happen but what happened to letting me know what happened to my package? Been a previous mail carrier myself we always went above and beyond to make the customer happy, but I guess it’s nothing I will experience while I live here, thank God I’m moving next year, because mail is a very important thing and for it to be misdelivered is not acceptable. I tried to get a hold of the office to hold the package that I have arriving on Monday so it’s not misdelivered, but nobody ever answered the phone so I’m crossing my fingers that the carrier is able to deliver it to the correct address this time. But after this no more packages will be coming to this address. I will have it go elsewhere so I’m assured that nothing will get lost again!!! TRY BETTER, It’s not that hard to do your job well!!!!!!
