- SCSylvia CalhounJun 10, 20241.0So sad that agents don’t know the aspects of an address change for a deceased person. I told the agent the email directed me to come in and show documentation. She immediately gives me a change of address card and says “you’ll send that in and they’ll ask for proof”. I’m confused but remember they sent a barcode when I attempted the electronic process. I mention the barcode and she say “it’s just going to tell you to fill out the card” she finally scans the barcode and it gives her the process. Is the window agent that depressed that they don’t care if they provide wrong information?
