  Employee is on his personal phone ordering a pizza. He silenced the ringing store phone rather than answer it. I had tried to call before going down but the phone wasn’t answered and now I know why. I needed the notary but they were on lunch. If the employee there had answered, I would have not driven there until later

  I’ve used UPS stores in various cities for years to drop off Amazon returns and packages with prepaid labels, and I’ve never encountered what happened at the Healdsburg location. On my recent visit, I was told I’d need to pay $4 just to leave a package there, supposedly for “packaging it up,” even though my package was already packed and I had my own tape. When I said I’d tape it myself, they still wanted to charge $2 just for accepting the drop-off. This has never been the case at any other UPS store I’ve visited, and I was frankly surprised by the sudden fee. I’ve already contacted customer service and I’m waiting on a response, but I hope the owner can clarify why this charge exists. It’s not about the amount—it’s about the principle and the level of service. I hope this can be resolved, as this was not the kind of customer care I expected.

  I was returning a TV to Amazon that was severely damaged by UPS in delivery. I taped the box shut, but the employee at the desk said that I had to return with a better tape job or pay $2 to borrow their tape. I objected and pointed out that I have done returns to Amazon completely unwrapped and the UPS location or Whole Foods has always taken care of it. At this point the two employees demanded that I leave the store and called the police to have me removed. I returned shortly after with the box completely taped, but they refused to help me and called the police again, so now I must drive 10 minutes to the next closest store. This location should lose their franchise!

  I’d give zero stars, if I could! We shipped cookie jar rear we purchased from antique store in Healdsburg last week. It arrived this week in small pieces. The person at the desk knew what was inside and was tasked with packing. Once it arrived, my husband called the store. Pictures were sent and we have heard nothing since. The item cost $85 and shipping was $55. If we were told that this store was unable to ship, we would not have done so. Please refund us the cost of the item plus shipping costs!
