  Everyone was friendly and helpful. I did feel a bit bad that the staff had to be the “bad guy” when it came to policy—they wouldn’t allow using a small strip of packing tape and required purchasing a full roll instead. I understand policies exist, but it was a little frustrating for such a minor need.

  Friendly, knowledgable staff! I feel like I am visiting my UPS friends! The location could not be better - I left my house and was back home in 20 minutes…and had a happy holiday hug from the staff!

  The customer service at the 22568 Mission Blvd, Hayward store is very good. They’re always patient, friendly, and do their best to help you. Especially their staff member Debbie who is always smiling, quite funny, and does a great job of acknowledging your customers. I witnessed Debbie assure her line of customers she was there to help while she did a bunch of her tasks to get stuff done.

  One of the Worst UPS Store Experiences: This is by far the worst UPS location I have ever visited. There were three staff members and one manager present, yet they behaved as if customers were an inconvenience rather than their responsibility. When I arrived, there was a short line—only three people ahead of me—so the wait itself wasn’t an issue. The problem began once it was my turn. The staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and impolite. As a Hayward resident, this was my first visit to this location, but that should not matter. Whether they recognize me or not, I am still a paying customer and deserve basic courtesy and professionalism. I was attempting to return AT&T equipment. After waiting while they claimed their system was “restarting,” they ran my account and then abruptly stated they could not find it—without offering any explanation or assistance, and in a very rude manner. What was most frustrating was that they clearly did not seem to understand the process themselves. I immediately went to FedEx instead, where the return was completed quickly and effortlessly—no issues at all. I’m writing this review so others are prepared for the poor treatment they may receive if they absolutely must use this location. Otherwise, I strongly recommend choosing a different UPS store or going to FedEx instead—you’ll thank yourself later.
