My company has an active account with FedEx, so that should be more than enough information to process a simple envelope. No one has ever asked me for a phone number before. I was exhausted and just trying to drop off a simple envelope, and instead I was turned away for a new ‘rule’ that didn’t make sense. I then had to drive about 15 more minutes to my regular FedEx location, where they accepted it with no problem and did not ask for a phone number. Very frustrating and not helpful at all.”
