Unfortunately we had an unkind treatment from this Fortuna post office on 7/17/20. A USPS personnel delivered a package to our front door, but the package was mistakenly delivered to us instead of its correct recipient, Walgreens in Puerto Rico. Our family orders items online from Walgreens due to the Covid lockdown. But upon checking the ship to address on the packing slip, I called the post office to inform them of the error and was instructed to write "Refuse" on the box. The USPS personnel picked up the item, but shortly returned the box accusing us of opening the package, which is untrue. A discussion was had with the USPS personnel and he basically threw the package in front of our garage. The next morning, a TV company was visiting my resident and noticed the box and the items that poured out of it onto the driveway (clips for shelves) and asked what happened. I explained the incident, the USPS action to "refuse" our request to take the package, but instead threw the box and the items fell out. The TV company disgusted by the look of the situation said, "it seems to be a disgruntle employee". This is sad story and frankly am disappointed with the way our USPS choose to service its community residents.

By far the worst customer service ever from Brenda and Diane that I've ever had. Acted like I ruined there day just by walking in.
