Came here to avoid bad customer service in San Rafael. While I personally got great service, I watched the customer in the next booth be spoken in a reprehensible manner for no good reason. In the end the woman behind the counter admitted fault but did not changer her tone.

Horrible customer service over the phone with a mean postmaster. I had asked her if there was any chance a package had been delivered to the wrong address as I'd been waiting for it for 2 months, she snapped that my mail was handled by another office and immediately hung up on me. They are vastly under prepared for electronic payment in office during a time when people are trying to as clean as possible. If your chip doesn't work and you don't have cash, good luck.

Worst Service Ever! We travel. We called ahead to make sure we could have mail sent general delivery. They said "sure - we hold it for 30 days". We arrived in town and went to pick up our forwarded mail. It was like a dystopian novel. The guy at the window said "are you on the list?" We said "what list?" Without explaining at all, he said "you have to be on the list." No one told us about any "list" and he wasn't into explaining at all. Finally, we learned we should have our names on a list - even if our mail is clearly marked "General Delivery." The "list" was him writing our names on a small piece of paper. No idea where he put it after that. No one told us about a list ahead of time. The guy wasn't even clear about whether clearly marked mail would be held or returned to sender. Turns out they sent my mail back to Texas - which I found out online, not from him. Some of this mail is going to be over a month old before I have a chance to get it. I'm certainly not going to depend on this branch for anything in the future. I was reasonable iin spite of all this, and then the guy actually wandered away from the window before I had a chance to do other business - mailing a couple of packages, buying stamps, etc. The guy couldn't communicate or relate - he just walked off without a word.
