- AMAna Moontoday5.0I visited the Post Office in El Dorado Hills, CA to send several business documents, and the process was handled with professionalism and efficiency. The staff member clearly explained the mailing options and helped ensure everything was properly labeled. The line moved steadily and the facility was organized and clean. For routine mailing and business correspondence, this location provides a dependable and structured service experience.
- CSC SFeb 21, 20261.0Absolutely the worst post office. They constantly lose mail. My letter carrier is a worthless curmudgeon who didn’t even bother to inform anyone my neighborhood mailbox cluster had been burglarized and mail stolen (MINE) until I tried to track down a missing package. I have Informed Delivery and I know exactly what was coming, what supposedly had been delivered and what was missing. Then all they would deign to tell me is that the letter carrier was uncooperative. They couldn’t/wouldn’t tell me what date the mailbox burglary occurred. They wouldn’t say anything. Spoke to the local Sheriff about this and their assessment was that the local post office is extremely difficult and uncooperative. I submitted a report to the Postal Service Inspector but I expect that they’ll be as uncooperative and worthless as the El Dorado Hills Post Office. Another incident involved me paying extra for 3-day Priority Mail Delivery for a letter to be delivered to Santa Barbara CA from the El Dorado Hills Post Office. It took 27 days to arrive. When asked what happened the customer service supervisor just shrugged. I have always had exceptional customer service from the USPS EXCEPT at the El Dorado Hills post office. Everyone there seems to have an attitude, particularly my neighborhood letter carrier. And I am not the only person in my neighborhood to have complained about the letter carrier. One other thing. This place is technically not a Post Office. It is considered a Remote Station. Anything mailed from El Dorado Hills Post Office Remote Postal Station is transferred to the Folsom Post Office where everything is sorted and then sent to the main facility in Sacramento. If you need to make sure your mail is handled correctly use the Folsom Post Office . If you have a PO Box at El Dorado Hills Remote Postal Station shut it down and get a PO Box at the Folsom Post Office. Staff at Folsom very good and customer service is excellent
