I was on hold for 20 minutes because I wanted to inquire about the status of a printing order that I had been informed would be completed within the hour. Finally, a lady answered my call, but she proceeded to narrate a lengthy and convoluted explanation for why my order would not be ready until Christmas (another two weeks away). She completely disregarded my request to cancel the order with my first attempt to get a word in. I had to interrupt her (she was rambling/complaining at this point about how much work she has to do), which was difficult to manage. So even though everyone I spoke to was polite and just doing their job, it was still unprofessional to do that over the phone.
