- TSTravis SousaNov 25, 20251.0This location is consistently disorganized and poorly managed. The staff often seem overwhelmed, disengaged, and unable to provide even basic assistance. The environment feels chaotic, with missing forms, missing supplies, and no sense of structure or accountability. It is extremely frustrating to visit a postal office where it appears that internal communication, teamwork, and leadership are all breaking down. There is clearly a lack of oversight, and it often feels like no one is actually in charge. The absence or unavailability of the postmaster only makes the situation worse. Overall, this branch is unreliable, inefficient, and far below the standard expected from a USPS facility. It desperately needs better management, organization, and staff coordination.

Today I came in to drop off my pre-labeled packages and politely asked a question — instead of helping, she responded with attitude and no greeting. She never smiles and makes the whole experience unpleasant. She needs to learn how to treat customers with respect if she is going to work in customer service, especially in an area like Del Mar. USPS should really address this issue.

They helped me get the PO Box I wanted and I could not be happier to be back at the Del Mar Post Office!
