I was next in line. The 2nd person, the short Asian man, decided to grab his thermos and walk away from the counter. The only one left was Daniel who decided to keep a single person at the counter for 12 minutes while he delayed helping me. He seemed not to care. I asked for other help. He said there were only 2 people there. However, 12 minutes later a tall woman came out from the back and helped me in 20 seconds. I’m told Daniel he needed to set the man aside while he filled out his addresses X 4 but, Daniel ignored me as did the man. He was elderly. He didn’t need to stand at THE ONLY OPEN COUNTER for 12 minutes. It was Daniel’s job to tell him to move aside and assist other customers while he filled out addresses. He failed to do so, even after I asked. It was super rude! He was rude up to the last moment as I told him again he should have moved the guy aside to assist others while the man literally took up the entire counter to fill out addresses. It’s bad enough we have the grumpiest mail-carrier on the planet. I expected a nice greeting from civil servants. But ts disappointing all the way around and a scourge on the degradation of society as a whole. You can and must do better!

Dana Point is the worst post office I’ve ever had to use. All except maybe 2 employees are so Rude, they apparently don’t even know postal regulations or how to mail packages. I ship a lot. They always quote highest price and say there are no other options which is total bs. The best post office is that little annex location in San Juan by the train tracks off Del Obispo. They are super nice and very helpful.

Promised package would arrive by Dec. 24th but now they have no idea what happened to the package. It’s last know place was at the Dana Point Post Office when I dropped it off. They were rude and only offered to help locate it after a lengthy discussion. Most inept bunch of people with no customer service skills. The supervisor was useless.
